The
world’s first hand-held, multi-modal (Iris, Finger, Face) enrollment and
recognition device, the HIIDE™ was developed for the
US Department of Defense and other government agencies. The
HIIDE™ can enroll and store up to 10,000 full biometric portfolios (2 iris templates, 10 fingerprints and a facial image) and identify a subject in stand-alone mode (i.e., untethered
to a host PC). The device can be expanded
to include USB enabled peripheral devices such as a passport
or card reader, and an external keyboard or a mouse.
The HIIDE™ has widespread appeal in
many government and commercial markets such as:
- Battlefield Detainee Identification
- Criminal Justice/Corrections
- Law Enforcement
- Transportation Worker Identity
- Border Control
- Healthcare (e.g. Drug Distribution)
- Election Control
- National ID Projects
